PowerFM have just interviewed me on the radio this morning - came as a bit of a shock when they phoned me at 07:00. Anyway, they're doing a mass skinny dip on Eastney beach on Friday October 13th @ 7.30AM ( http://www.powerfm.co.uk/Article.asp?id=276379). Not too sure how "mass" this will be - they reckoned they'd only had 1 more volunteer so far. Well, make that at least 2, 'cos I said I'd do it too! Anyone else? It'd be good to get together an Eastney Group and it would definitely be a great opportunity to push the Eastney Naturists Campaign. How about joining in on the sponsorship thing? They're raising money for their own charity ( Help A Local Child) - could we raise a significant sum?

As much as I would like to join in, what with me being a media junkie and all, but I may be going on the BN 'Wellness Weekend' on the 13th, will know sometime today if its on or off.

7.30 in the morning? It will be freezing! If might come and skinny paddle, but it's not the best time of day, clashes with the school run a bit.

Can't you chuck the kids in as well and call it a field trip? Barry

I'm going to try and drop my kids off to school a bit early, in which case I might just make the actual skinny dip. That doesn't mean to say I'm going to participate though lol.

Well, I've decided to do it although I did have reservations. I have got a growing list of sponsors too. See you there bright and early!

So, are the folks from Power FM just going to stand there, giggling, like they did before, or are any of them going to participate this time?

How about debagging them ... with only the sea to hide their blushes they might be more than willing to join in

My understanding is that Maximum Bob and his sidekick have both volunteered to do this nude as well. It is the basis of their charity fund-raising.

I believe that someone called Handy Andy is doing the skinny dip with Maximum Bob. This article http://www.powerfm.com/Article.asp?id=285500suggests it in the first paragraph although it is not made too clear elsewhere as far as I can see. Barry

Regretably I will now no longerbe able to get down to Eastney as I've been sent further north to work this week, more than doubling my distance from Eastney, coupled with the fact that I'm half way through refurbishing my mothers bathroom, its going to be far too much driving for me to able to manage.
Sorry!!!

Pete Sorry to see you won't be able to make it. Never mind, we'll just plunge into the cold, grey waters of the Solent and think of you nice and warm somewhere. Barry
